Dinner with the geng

I can still fell the love in the air.. maybe leftovers from valentines day and I found a new love...
Can you see the way we look into each other eyes? hmmm... He has a sexy pair of eyes for a 4 years old boy.

Yesterday, I went out for dinner with my ex colleague. Tho I left the 'Ex-Co.' for almost 3 years, (what? 3 years? i thought it was 3 months.. haha..) but we always keep in touch. Have get together for good meals + coffee once in a while, catch up with those working out of Malaysia when they come back for holiday or hang out to celebrate birthdays.

This time, we are celebrating the 'f'abulous feb babies' birthdays - Afti, Zufar and Me.

The nice part is that, afti, and mira bring along their family members kids + hubby.

For many many years.. i don't have the maternal instinct or maternal touch in me. Some people get theirs as early as 20's. But not me. I just started feeling it lately.. haha.. maybe I'm among the late bloomers. I always wonder if kids treat me as an adult or their friend? Look at Alif, he was doing some show and tell but there's nothing to show besides his guitar. For one minute he was a rock star. He was trying to un-zip his jacket in the picture above. Then he continue with some story telling...we get along very well. I guess kids like me because I'm not matured like them? haha... 



The whole table laugh when Alif said I'm more beautiful than this woman in the poster! *woot woot* and I blushed!

More talking + eating = more expressions! Afti expecting a baby girl. 7 more weeks to go. Yet, she looks small a 7 months pregnant babe.

While Kay Kay playing with her mummy's iphone.... she is disturbed by 'Aunty B' (for becky). Next to becky... is the organizer, may lynn, Thanks a bunch little one!

"I want that $$$. I need to buy new shoes!:' - Kay Kay. 


This is what happen when you don't give what she wants! She cried and now she wants the whole purse. Haha.. so cute!

 Not to forget the little baby too... he slept all the way... that's what they are good at anyway,

All of us have left the 'Ex-Co.' but I just have to admit it, we still want to know what happen at the ex-office, who are the next one to leave, scandals, gossips... cause we are like a family. We used to work together. Stay late night at the office. Have coffee break or lunch together. Complain about work and life. Share our happiness. Went for group trip for a few trips. All the memories are priceless and that's really keep the ties between us.

When everyone are enjoying long weekend in Kuala Lumpur, I had to get up early on a Sunday. But no complain cause I am flying to the city of Lion, Singapore. Well, i'm in Singapore for a week for work. It is going to be a busy week... and yet i am taking a few minutes... to post my updates. Had my lunch at PS Cafe, Palais @ Orchard Road . The ambiance is so welcoming and I can picture myself enjoying my cuppa coffee and the dessert. I was so full from my lunch and no space for dessert this time. I have a big mission this time..... to look for a handmade carpet from uncle shop (not my uncle ok!) at Arab St. This shop has all the lovely items from India. Nadia's fav item is the silk scarves. She even ordered a few...as usual. I dragged my colleague to follow me to shop before we go out for dinner

A new beginning

Every December, I will look back at my new year’s resolution. I didn’t manage to achieve all 2011 resolutions but at least more than half from the list. Being an optimistic person, I am thinking to shorten the list for this year. But does it really matter if you achieve 10% or 100% of your goals by December 2012? To me, what matter the most is the journey. Don’t worry if you keep on repeating the same resolution for 5 years down the road. Most importantly, how those goals actually transformed you to be a better person. Today, while watching 500 days of summer, I was actually thinking how to spice up my life… Not that I’m not happy with it but my brain just don’t know how to rest. As usual, I ask my best friend, what should I do to give some new colors in my life? She suggested for me to write a blog. Finally.. A tick for Istanbul

I can't remember exactly how many years ago.. maybe 4 or 5, made a plan with Nadia to visit Istanbul. We wanted to explore and understand Turkish life not as a tourist but as a traveler or even better as local. But the plan got postponed year after year..  Finally, my time for Istanbul come earlier than Nadia, and December 2012 is month where i'm fated to be in the grand Blue Mosque, understand the history of Ayasofya, drink Turkish tea and enjoy Apple tea, and most importantly, make new turkish friends. So I was there with my sisters during winter season. What to expect other than windy days. And the colors are  so dull. I'm not black, white and brown kind of person. More of pink, yellow, orange, purple, blue, and green. Haha.. yes. bringht and bold. That's me.  Great, it was raining as we walk out from the Ataturk airport.
