Beautiful Sunday

Relief... because we still have 2 more days to chillex (chilling + relaxing).
Fresh... wake up early and enjoying our breakfast.
Excited.... we are going to take more photos today and explore more places.

 

While we were busy eating and chit chatting... and me..reading newspaper... I come across this article about marriage. "Marriage is hard work and a lifelong job - and that's just the reality of it". Yes, I agree with this statement. This is also one of the reason why I am still single. There you go! I said it! I'm scared of the lifelong commitment. You can't resign within 24 hours notice if you don't like the job. You can't just take 1 month break or vacation from your marriage. It is totally not the same as your working life and yet it requires you to work hard as much and sometimes more that your career commitment. It is ok... let's enjoy Cameron Highlands for now. We can talk about this in another post.


Here we are at The Lakehouse. Mesmerized by the beautiful old house and english garden.










I almost fall asleep while waiting for my 2 angels taking photos for hours and hours... we took almost 200 photos at the Lakehouse... just Lakehouse. Yes. You read it correctly. 200 photos @ The Lakehouse only.



You must be wondering... since we are at the lakehouse....where is the lake? Let me tell you... the color of the lake is almost the same as 'Teh Tarik' (tea + milk) .... I don't want to spoil your mood by showing the colored lake... but here is the black and white version. I have to admit the view is nice though.

Nothing excites us more than taking photos.

We have another 2 guest actress... Aida and Naurah and 1 actor, Aida's hubby but he is busy sleeping while we were enjoying our tea & scones. Cute little naurah .. she's a shopaholic in the making! 



Naurah. She's one clingy little creature. Just like her star sign... Cancer = Crab. People say that crab will hang on to the one that they feel secured the most be it at home, work, family and friends... Btw, Nadia is another crab. Haha...

The weather makes us eat double than normal. Haha... we are as fat as Barnie the purple dinosour now. Haha.. kidding. Just look at what we have for dinner... Steamboat and Strawberry Juice. Super duper yummy! 



The end of day 2 @ Cameron Highlands. One more day to go....

    hey looks like u girls r having lots of fun at cameron. lovely pics u got there, seriously!

    everyone talks abt cameron's tea & scones, are they really that good? the pic reminds me of the scones that we had at cape town museum, while waiting for the tiny cannon to fire :-D

    yea.. you can see from the photos. lots of fun. totally a blast weekend.
    The scones & tea @ Bala's was superb. Lembut and tak berderai. Tapi mahal sikit RM22.50 for 2 scones and 1 cup of tea. I tried it at another place yang murah sikit RM12 for 2 scones but not as good as Bala's. Yea la.. we had scones @ cape town museum. That was fun!

When everyone are enjoying long weekend in Kuala Lumpur, I had to get up early on a Sunday. But no complain cause I am flying to the city of Lion, Singapore. Well, i'm in Singapore for a week for work. It is going to be a busy week... and yet i am taking a few minutes... to post my updates. Had my lunch at PS Cafe, Palais @ Orchard Road . The ambiance is so welcoming and I can picture myself enjoying my cuppa coffee and the dessert. I was so full from my lunch and no space for dessert this time. I have a big mission this time..... to look for a handmade carpet from uncle shop (not my uncle ok!) at Arab St. This shop has all the lovely items from India. Nadia's fav item is the silk scarves. A new beginning

Every December, I will look back at my new year’s resolution. I didn’t manage to achieve all 2011 resolutions but at least more than half from the list. Being an optimistic person, I am thinking to shorten the list for this year. But does it really matter if you achieve 10% or 100% of your goals by December 2012? To me, what matter the most is the journey. Don’t worry if you keep on repeating the same resolution for 5 years down the road. Most importantly, how those goals actually transformed you to be a better person. Today, while watching 500 days of summer, I was actually thinking how to spice up my life… Not that I’m not happy with it but my brain just don’t know how to rest. As usual, I ask my best friend, what should I do to give some new colors in my life? She suggested for me to write a blog. Finally.. A tick for Istanbul

I can't remember exactly how many years ago.. maybe 4 or 5, made a plan with Nadia to visit Istanbul. We wanted to explore and understand Turkish life not as a tourist but as a traveler or even better as local. But the plan got postponed year after year..  Finally, my time for Istanbul come earlier than Nadia, and December 2012 is month where i'm fated to be in the grand Blue Mosque, understand the history of Ayasofya, drink Turkish tea and enjoy Apple tea, and most importantly, make new turkish friends. So I was there with my sisters during winter season. What to expect other than windy days. And the colors are  so dull. I'm not black, white and brown kind of person. More of pink, yellow, orange, purple, blue, and green. Haha.. yes. bringht and bold. That's me.  Great, it was raining as we walk out from the Ataturk airport.
